Are the any differences between the dot spec headlight housings and the euro housings for the TT?

Are the any differences between the dot spec headlight housings and the euro housings for the TT?
I noticed on the A4 forum some people upgrade their housings to euro spec, would this have any advantiges(sp?) on the TT?

The earlier A4's without projector headlights were pretty bad and the euro's were a big improvement.
I don't think the TT would benefit from this and it would probably cost a small fortune.
