Default When did your dealer become Johnny law?

If he has no plate to mount just tell him that you will be ordering a cutom mount and to leave it alone...

Default Do you mean just to get the car off the lot when you pick it up?

Use zip ties to the upper or lower grill. Get the car off the lot and cut the zip ties!

Flashback. In the service, we taped a guy to an aircraft engine lifter (inside the hangar)

Default You shouldn't have been . . .

in NY State a front plate is part of the State Inspection. If the plate is missing the car fails. I got away with it because I got my car in CT. The dealer could not get the car inspected in time for my pickup so I stopped on my way into NY and got it inspected. The place that did the inspection was really cool. The guy even said, good no front plate, would ruin the cars lines! lol
