any how to, on changing battery in key fob...

I can separate the key but cannot see the battery...already searched but couldn't find much on the actual replacement.

The half with the buttons comes apart.

A little flat screwdriver or knife carefully applied at the joint will open it.

When I have it opened and look inside, I do not see a battery. I see a rectangular little black box. Is this the battery? How do I get it out. I have seperated the key.

Best place to open it up is where your key chain attaches. You may have to resynch your fob after you put in the new battery.
