I saw Stanford play Long Beach St., about three weeks ago, and the Cardinal looks pretty ...
damn good! They have three HUGE guys that they rotate up front, probably heard of the Collins' brothers, but they're huge. Plus they have guys on the perimeter that can flat out shoot! Stanford in definitely going to the Final Four, and has a great shot at the National Championship title.

It's a natural inclination when people feel like they're getting to know one another. It's certainly harmless and, in IMHO, tends to make our on topic discussions all the more fun. I think it'd be better to just ignore it if you're not interested. It's WAY better than a "Test Sig" or "Ignore This" post.
No offense intended to you, of course. You're a big-time forum regular and a person I consider a friend here, but I just have a differing view on these OT discussions.

I'm not pissed/grumpy, I don't think it pertains to the base subject as well as other OT's...
besides, the Gophers suck, and the Vikings are gonna choke even more than they have already!
