Default Any recommendations for a better alternatives to Rain-X?

I think Rain-X is great, but I don't like how when it's only raining lightly the windows get covered in tiny water drops that don't just run off. Also, when I run the wipers they leave a trail of haze/film on the window that then goes away after a few seconds, and this haze is very hard to see through.

I'm not going to reapply rain-x to my windshield. Anyone use any alternative window treatment product that you think works better than Rain-X?

Default Just get your windshield very clean...

Start with a really good glass cleaner: Eagle One 20/20, Eimann ClearVision, Stoners Invisible Glass. Buy some microfiber towels (like the Viper at cma and clean the glass with it. Also, get a clay bar and clay the windshield. There's lots of nasty stuff in the glass that is keeping your windshield from being completely clean. Awhile ago Audi used to sell a glass cleaning kit that came with a clay bar, it works.

Who needs the wipers when you use Rain-X? Never turn them on!

I use Zaino Z-5 on mine. I also use it on my stock 17", brake dust is no longer a problem.
