I have a pic to post but I think you get the idea..euro split mirrors are the ONLY way to go..

Default Convex mirror that is placed just below (more)

the inside rearview works good, made in germany and found at restoration hardware for $18.

Default I've had the split mirrors for about a week now ~

My eyes felt like they were seeing double until I got use to them ... but now, I think they're a real safety feature ... GET THEM!

Default All it takes is patience, and alot of it. It is really not hard, but

be careful when popping off the OEM mirrors, I broke one also. I found that a plastic bottle opener wrapped in soft cotton (old T-shirt) helped pop the OEM's off. Once they are off, installing the new mirrors is a 15 second job. Where are you? If in DC/VA/MD area, I'd be happy to give you a hand!

Default Agree with others on getting the Audi TT Euro spec "blindspot" sideview mirrors. Two thumbs up!
