Default Any thoughts on Stratmosphere Clutches(stg2)? Looking for my daily driver TT...

Im using my TT as a daily driver on a regular basis, but i do push my clutch to the limits sometimes, i guess(nothing too crazy).

Burned my OEM clutch by accident. So i want a clutch that will NOT burn by accident this time.

Will probably do a Chip, ModShack Stg3, not much more than that. Looking for a dependable and oem-like feel clutch.

Is a Stratmosphere Clutch stg2 a good fit for me?

TIA

Default do yourself a favor and do a search on South Bend OFE Stg3 clutch

for outstanding oem feel with awesome torque holding caps for a chipped car.

No, I am not saying the Strat clutch is not reliable. It looks comparable to the SB in terms of torque holding caps stage per stage. South Bend just deals in clutches and supportive components where as Strat is a distributor. Plus call Strat and have them compare the SB clutch material know as fermatic full face lining on the flywheel side. Ask Strat what they use on theirs. I was not sure which clutch to go with and the guys here led me to the promise land. So far, I am very happy with my final choice: it holds torque so well and the pedal feels like OEM. And don't forget the dual mass flywhell, all it needs is probably a turn or two on the grinder. For oem feel stay with dual mass FW.

OEM comes with dual mass flywheel....stick with that for OEM feel and drivability....
