Default Don't do this on your 225 wheels though - they are not painted...
NASA's technique is for painted wheels - the 225's are polished and clearcoated. People have had good results with a dremel or an emory board/fine wet/sand paper depending on how bad it is. Although, re-reading, it doesn't look like you have the 5 spokes anymore anyways - just a hint of caution though.
