Any way to wire IPOD input through CD changer wire? Seems like it would be easier than splicing into
wires. Also, can I hook up cd changer input if I don't have a cd changer from the factory? I have Bose. Thanks.

You need the CD changer for this adapter to work.
The changer provides the correct protocol signals to open the 'Mode' switch on the H/U.
My adpater switches the line-level inputs coming from the changer bet. the changer and the Aux input source, like the iPod.<ul><li><a href="http://classifieds.audiworld.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/classifieds.cgi?db=autoparts&website=&lang uage=&session_key=&search_and_display_db_b utton=on&results_format=long&db_id=2311&am p;query=retrieval">Aux In Adap

The hook up for the changer is there, even if the changer isn't.
Bipes has a cable, as does autotoys.com. The autotoys version is by blitzsafe and cost me about 70 bucks. Works great.
