any car can be MADE into a race car...
if anyone buys a car to "embarris" some much nicer car (c'mon...who wants to drive a race-car Hyundai on the street? What soft of daily driver is that...compared to a 996 or a F360?) they're pretty pathetic.
If drag racing is your thing, you don't buy european cars period. Big displacement V8s are IT.
If you want an incredible all around package, you buy something like a Ferrari or a Porsche (or and Audi) and enjoy your car.
