Hose on the right side where it meets the piping with the "do not touch sign"

Getting rubbed through by the alternator pulley? It should never get that hot at that spot...

its up on the top of the hose...i would take a pic but, no camera...

That hose is much softer that the others (by design) is that what you're worried about?

Default That hose is melted along the top where it connects to the piping. >>>>

someone mentioned it could be a turbo bearing going out. i'm afraid all of a sudden.

this time of year, That point should under 150 degrees.....If it is really melting, you've got some problems upstream....

Default Looked at the hose>>>>

the hose doesn't look melted it looks like its been rubbing on something. There isn't anything for it to rub on though up there. It looks like it at the "rubbed" down to the "belts" of the hose. The more I look at it the more it looks like its been subjected to some vaccumming...is that possible?
