Anybody lease their TT...some questions?
I am considering leasing a FWD TT for at least 2 years (I test drive tomorrow). My problem is that I usually drive more than 15,000 miles per year. Is it possible to pre-purchase miles in an audi lease. Also, I calculated my lease payments using the audi financial website. What is it that this calculator is not mentioning? Tax?? Gap insurance?? Can I still work a better deal from the dealer??

Re: Anybody lease their TT...some questions?
Shawn,
I looked into the lease as well but decided to go with buying the car. Audi will allow you to pre-buy miles over the 15K limit but I am not sure what their rate is. My dealer told me that after 2years that expect the residual to be around 75%. Now that is not bad and one of the main reason I went with buying the car. Tax is not included in the price on the web site because the site does not know where you live. I think tax was the only thing that the site did not take into consideration. FYI my dealer has had only one lease that the salesman knew of. That should tell you something. Usually 50%+ of new cars are leased.
Stuart
I'll probably lease ...
I just recently headed down to my Audi dealer and began discussing leasing info with the finance manager. She informed me that Audi does offer high mile leases (20,000/yr) at a "reasonable cost". Didn't get into the specifics w/ her, but she assured me that it would likely be significantly cheaper than financing the car. I'll likely lease mine for two years+, turn it in at lease-end, and get a roadster. =)
