Default so clarkson's gonna like it?

for some reason, i can't get the 2,3,4 pages to load on that article.

i have 0% doubt that the new TT is gonna kill the Mk1 TT when it comes to performance.

and i'm gonna say it now.....there WILL be owners on this forum who say they "hate" it now...who are gonna cave and buy the new one.

yes it's a prophecy, just watch it take place.

(PS> i won't be one of those people.....)

Clarkson won't admit it if he does like it.

Default Oh, he'll like it, I bet. But he will complain about numb steering... all Brit car mag writers do.

... must have to do with driving on highly-crowned B-roads much of the time. Numb steering seems to be the #1 complaint in CAR and TopGear magazines about pretty much all VW group cars.

Default if it doesn't oversteer they won't like it...

they still think sideways is fast for some reason.

Default He has... but hates the Q7 (not that it's the same class/character of car).

But I sense a general predisposition against Audis from Clarkson.

Default It's not that they think sideways is fast, but that the driving dynamics of a car with more RWD bias

... is often more fun to drive.

Love my TT as I do, my complaint with the TT has always been that the understeering character is far too pronounced. And it doesn't need to be completely sideways, just more balanced. I upgraded to the 19mm rear bar but it's still not what I'd like.

Default I've got PSS9s and the H&R 21mm and it's quite nice...

understeer and oversteer are all a function of your right foot. It really is a nice setup. The way the car should have come from the factory.
