Default Anyone else in Florida experiencing smelly AC?

Wondering how I could get mildew - but no one else in the same area. I park in a garage in one month put about 1,000 miles on the car.

I'd think this should be a warranty item... maybe a plugged-up condensing unit drain from the A/C?

Default Ask the dealer to do deoderize the system...Braman has replaced my airfilter and cleaned out my AC

system at least 3 times already.

Default THis is very common. Take it to the dealer and they will

remove the pollen filter and spray Wurths A/C and Heating system cleaner aerosol (link below) into the plenum where the blower is. They will use the heater while doing this and spray it liberally.

Or you could do what I did and do it yourself. I have done 2 treatments on my car and one very heavy one on my home A/C unit and still have 1/3 can left.

http://store.yahoo.com/classic-motoring/wuracheatsys.html</a

Default Won't do. Must kill mold with harsh chemicals. I tried an enzyme based cleaner that did little.

Sorry, just my experieince.

The problem is the A/C on the Mark IV platform is designed imperfectly and mold can collect on the vanes of the evaporator inside the system.
