Default anyone else have intermittent problems starting the engine?

Is this another TT bug or is my car isolated? 3 times in 3 weeks it didn't start on the first crank. A little embarrasing when you are showing off your 'new' ride. I have a 2001 TTR 225 w/ 16k on it. My BMW did the same thing when it was brand new and it was traced to the fuel press reg. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Default Turn key to on, wait for OK message in trip computer, then start.

If that doesn't fix it, then you may have an actual problem that should be checked out.

I experienced that right before my coil pack went dead....could be a precursor?

Wait for "OK" to dissappear...then start.

Default Do you wait for the "OK" to disappear? If not...

you may not be allowing enough time for the fuel pumps to pressurize the system.

Default Interesting. Mine just started doing this 2 weeks ago.

I wouldn't think that I was suddenly getting quick on the trigger as far as starting,
but I'll start paying a little more attention.

Had VAG on it last week w/no codes, so at this stage - who knows.
