Anyone else use wheel spacers with BBS RC w/a 35mm offset?

I found a set of BBS RC rims I'm thinking of buying but the off-set is not quite right. (the rims sit just slightly in compared to stock) OEM off-set on the 225 wheel is 32mm, the BBS is 35mm. Spacers should correct this but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had to do this? any problems with running spacers? I found H&R spacers in 5mm, 8mm, 10mm etc. Thanks!

...the stock offset was 35mm. The other thing to consider is whether the rims you are considering are wider than stock. I believe stock is 7.5" w/35mm offset. Going to a 8.5" wheels with the same 35mm offset results in the rim sticking out a 1/2" further than the stock wheel. Just something to keep in mind.

I thought it was 35mm also (?). The RC's are 17x8 w/35mm so in theory, they *should* stick out further. Instead, they stick out about a1/2" less than the oem 5 spokes. Doesn't sound like much, but you can deffinatly see the difference. Kind of odd since they're a 8" rim compared to 7.5". I wonder if the 7 spoke rims are a different than the 5 spoke??
