Anyone else's TT attracting cops like moths? Got 2 tickets in 1 month!
I'm a proud owner of the Wetterhauer chipped brilliant black TT 180 for one month, and even though I'm driving just as fast (slow?) as my old car, now I've already got 2 speeding tickets with my TT. One of the cops couldn't stop asking me about the TT's features while he was writing me up! I get the feeling the cops stare at the car and notice that it's speeding!<p>drjlo

I've always suffered the fate of being "watched" more closely by cops. In my 911, its not so bad, because there's tons of 911's on the road. I've been paced several times, as well as targeted by the same 'undercover' state trooper on numerous occasions in my 911 in the past (he drives a Green Camaro on I-88 in IL, by the way). However, since I got the TT, I've been even more careful of my speed and driving habbits, as I feel like the car is 100x more noticable than the 911 to a police officer, and the added part of not having a front license plate only heightens my chances.
I've not gotten a ticket yet with the TT (nor with my 911 believe it or not), but I have this dreaded feeling that my 3 years of no tickets is going to be shattered real soon now.
All you can do is drive smart, get a good radar detector, and watch very VERY carefully.
