Anyone ever replaced rear facia before? How difficult it is to get off/on?

Well, I noticed after my car was towed that the rear facia is bent. If you look at it from the back it is not even from side to side. The part is only $41 from Clair so I may order it and have it painted. Just wondering if anyone has replaced theirs before and if so, was it hard to remove and put back on? I know economisTT replaced his when he got his dual exhaust. Thanks.

Look under the rear and see if it has been pop riveted on. Mine was, at both ends by the screws. I guess they do this in case the screws come out, it won't blow away. If so, drill out the pop rivets. Remove the 4 screws. Now, take a small screw driver and press down on the tabs from the inside while pulling or pushing out. Start on the ends and work towards the center. You'll catch on once you see how there held in. Installation is easier. Just line up tabs and push in, working from end to end a little at a time. Replaced both end screws with bolts and didn't pop rivet. You might want to look and see if your tabs were just pulled out somehow. Maybe all you have to do is press the panel back in place. Hope this helps.
