Default Anyone have any pics of where is the proper location....

for placement of jacks and jack stands? I'm gonna change the oil next week and I'm purchasing jack stands and a jack and I want to make sure that I put these things in the proper place.

And I don't have a manual to look in.....

Default and you can get a Krispy Kream across the street ! Barley matters ....

3.4K / 4 is less than 1K and â€oesmallest†jack stand is like 2K
Only awards are for Mods and cool tools! Not utility items like jack stands :-P

Default I have a 1-1/2 ton jack and 1-ton stands. More than enough...

for a 3000# car. Picked up the jack and 4 stands at Sears last year for $100.

Default For changing your oil, forget jack and stands....

Go to Walmart and buy a pair of Rhino Ramps. MUCH easier to use, give plenty of under=car room to remove the belly pan, etc.
Also useful for the rear for exh install, etc. too. Any job where you need heighth, but don't need to pull the wheels.

Default Jack goes on the rubber donuts behind front wheels or in front of rear wheels

for jacking up the car. I place jack stands underneath the control arm hinges.
