Anyone have detail instructions on how to wire a boost gauge??...

I want to install myself my new AutoMeter boost gauge but I don't know how and where to wire the electrical part. If anyone can write a detail explanation I will appreciatte that.

That's the part that I don't know how to wire, the electrical part of the light bulb.

the ash tray.
Remove the ash tray, and there are 2 connectors there, one for the dash lights, the other to power the socket.
the red and black are the light.
tap into these wires, run the cable to your gauge.
Small speaker zip-cord will work great for this.
you don't need heavy cable, the lighter the better.
twist the bare ends together, tape with electrical tape, hide the cable, you are done.

Have you done a search on this?
I can show you some of the way, but you will need to route a hose, cut tubing, use a "T" connectors, clamps, etc.
If this is your first time doing this type of thing, look around be
fore you do.
Here is the over-all pic from moving the boost gauge hose to the primary vacuum line from the manifold.
It works great.

The main line coming from the manifold, is at the bottom here. It has the enlarged curve at the back end, because I did not trim the hose, when I added in the "T" connector. I may trim this later.
