Default anyone have Dyno data on the TTDA? or any intake for that matter?

im not trying to knock the TTDA, it is an incredible design and im actually thinking of buying one when funds are available.
but it seems that intakes dont do much for the 1.8t as far as performance goes. anyone?
*** dyno doesnt count

Default You won't see results on a dyno...

#1 because the air isn't moving quickly enough to pressurize a properly installed TTDA...

But also because the TTDA will give you throttle response, and let the car rev freer, but not necessarily give you more power.

Someone from the UK got 7 ponies from a TTDA.

Default Possibly... but I'd like to see that data... regardless...

It's an excellent unit. Someone also dyno'd gains from the Samco intake hose... I think like 15 hp (not peak).

I'm sure that the TTDA does increase power in some places in the RPM range.. but some people only think "peak" power.

Default Nope..

After dynoing his TT the first time he added an FMIC and an intake..

Second.. The dynos were done on 2 different days therefore making the claimed gains from either the FMIC or intake worthless..

Default I'd be more interested in hearing how they are fairing in heavy snow or rain.

My old Delta 88 had a rather low air intake and SNORK, suddenly I'm pouring water out of my spark plugs.

Granted, there were several inches of water in the streets, but this was a stock unit.

Or.. run one all the way down, and the other to the fender.. then it has no chance of ingesting.
