Anyone have Gas lid and trunk button problems?

My buttons stopped working during the car inspection when I picked it up for the first time...
Like many others, the buttons would not work, the service techs could not figure it. LarryTT thinks its a bad ground. The strange thing is that it started working again as soon as I got home without any problems since.
Question - did your remote key fob work on the trunk? Mine did while the internal buttons did not (of course as I mentioned until I got home).
