Default Anyone have Invincashield on their ALMS (Avus Silver)?

I've been hearing that the shield turns yellow after a while. How does it look on the Avus Silver?

Cheers,

P. DiTTy

Default I tried to put it on my new silver TTR. The stuff is crap. The cutouts didnt match up an didnt stick

I sent it back. They tried not to take it back untill I told them I was going to report them to my credit card company.

Default Mine matched fine.....>>

The installation process requires a lot of patience. Lots of people here have done their own installs with no problems and no yellowing reported. Most of the companies use the 3M film.

Default This may be a minority view...

I hate the stuff ;-) It leaves a very obvious line on the hood that is quite evident in most light. Since I do not live in an area with a high incidence of rock damage (unlike say Colorado) I am of the opinion that repainting the affected ares is as cheap on balance and is less visually disturbing for that period of time. (just my personal view :-)

Default I have to agree 100%.

The only place I would use it is on the headlights.

Default 1yr. Love mine-did it myself- no yellowing & would do it again -match is fine and

I use a extra soft tooth brush on the lines and it's very hard to see. Besides most of you want more speed, more speed, so who is going to see that little line anyway.
