Default Anyone have a real world comparison between ABT & O.CT chips?

or either of those and another APR etc? Buying new chip next week and the O.CT looks like a pretty long torque band? leaning this way, I had the ABT it was a good chip, "they" tell me the O.CT pulls a little better, any feedback welcome.

Default From what I have been told... ABT is the strongest besides GIAC....

And also ran the best 1/4 mile so far.

Default That was my impression when I bought the ABT chip GIAC seems to flakey

its not even a consideration, APR is there since I don't have to buy an extra ecu for dealer visits. arghhhhh decisions decisions decisions ???? If a quarter mile was a consideration i'd try to stuff a v8 in there

Default Not sure....

For other 1.8t's though, GIAC is the most powerful.

Default GIAC isn't flakey at all....

They are actually probably the best domestic tuner. And their new software is supposed to be amazing. I'll know as soon as I install mine.

Default I look forward to your review however after reading this board for two years

I must say, the most complaints and isues have came from owners of that chip, I wasn't slamming , maybe it sounded that way, was not my intent..I just want the best and most issue free available

Default got my giac chip two days ago

just got my giac chip on wednesday. i've got a 2000 TTQC 180. i am very happy with it so far. i plan on doing apr stage 3 within the next couple months, but wanted some more torque in the mean time. i was shying away from giac just because of the posts about it not being smooth. i think it's damn smooth with great torque and hp gains. i haven't had that much fun driving down the 405 in a long time! for socal peeps, i'd highly recommend jeff at torque factory for giac. he's a great guy to work with.

Default not the best way to waste $500 if you plan on going stage 3 in the next 2 months

shoulda got the APR chip..that way you would have gotten freebies with stage 3...

Oh well...
