Default Anyone have tips on how to remove paint from strut bar?

I'm planning on polishing it because the black paint is now dull. Thanks!

Default wait a minute, you are talking about 2 diff. things here.

black pint is dull = polish

OR

black paint is dull=I want to remove it.

Just clean it well with some mineral spirits, NOT goo-gone, and spray it with a ClearCoat.

Default if you want the chrom look buy the forge one

for the time and money it will take you to try to get the same look it's worth the investment (and you'd never get it as good as the chrome one)

Of course if you want to just clean it follow Mr Bipe's suggestion

Default Dimethylforamide

is the main ingredient in this stuff:

It works wonders, just don't breathe when you're working with it.

Default Forge has the chrome one. They have 3 orders in and need a few more to build these.

Order or call Forge.

Bar is steel. if you remove paint to polish, you'll have shiny steel
