Default Anyone here had a manifold pressure sensor need to be replaced?

Bentley/Audi call it the charge pressure sender G31.

I have made a couple of posts re: problems with my TT and DTCs gathered w/ VAG-COM. APR believes it is a prob. w/ my manifold pressure sensor, but my ECU is on its way to them to be tested, just in case.

To anyone who has replaced the sensor/sender: Is it necessary to remove the front bumper to access the sensor on the top of the intercooler? What potential problems do I need to look out for?

link to prev. post
