What about getting rid of curb rash on painted OEM rims? Is ther a paint code?
Are they a standard silver covered by a clear coat? Most dealers want $150.00 to fix a blem on a wheel. Gotta be a better way...

I agree. If I'm going to live with these another year or so, I want them looking good.
Doing myself would be a lot more affordable. I've seen it done on here but I'm a little leary about using that refinishing spray paint.

quite simple actually
take a look at the "nasa wheel repair" process in the tech section
the "standard" silver is either a wurth silver (which supposedly doesn't work so well--the spray can nozzles clog) or a toyota silver that you can buy at any auto parts store. i believe the actual paint code for the toyota paint is listed in the repair writeup
