Default Anyone know how to eject the cd cartridge manually (without power connected)??

I changed my system and I am no longer using the oem cd changer so it was left in there with cd's in the cartridge and no power... Is there a way to manually eject the cd cartridge?

Find a 12V battery charger and connect it long enough to eject the cartridge.

Default Jeff Bipes has the pinout for the 13pin OEM connector. You can connect a aligator clip to a small...

brad (nail) and insert it into the correct pin # on the connector. Do it for the battery and ground, connect 12 V and press eject...

Default Use this diagram, stick some pins or a small nail in the *correct* holes in the end...

of the changer cable. Apply +12V and Gnd, hit the button.
You might be able to get by with a fresh 9V.
Or try a power adapter that you have in house, one of the "black cube' deals, at least a 9V, 12V *DC* ! not AC!

This is a view looking at the end of the cable coming from the changer.
