Default Received this today...

Mike,
Thanks for contacting us with yout tuning needs. We are nearing the time for release of our 02 TT programming. I do not know a specific date for release but I assure that it is coming soon (real soon). I suggest that you keep an eye onn the web page for new release info. As for the "chastity belt" you will need to drill the screws out. We will send you a replacement set when we return the chip to you. Let me know if you have any other questions or if you would like to place an order. Thanks. Jeremy Auvil

Default APR screwup...

I got an email from Jeremey at APR that said the '02 225 chip would be ready this week.

I then called my APR guy here in Houston and he called APR to confirm the chip was indeed ready for download.

So...after fighting Houston rush hour traffic on Monday, I get to the shop only to find out that the 180 chip is ready but they are still working on the 225!!!! Needless to say I was pissed!

Emailed Jeremy and all he would say was maybe later this week.
I still have "THAT NEED FOR SPEED", maybe next week?

Default A metal box around the ECU preventing you from removing the wiring harness...

And obviously preventing you from removing the ECU all together. Apparently, the two rivet type bolts must be drilled out, the chip may then be installed and then they give you replacement rivet type bolts to put back so that it looks like it was never removed.

Default You figure Audi wants to come out with a 265hp TT but won't be able to sell them if ppl know...

that a $500-1000 dollar chip will give them the same hp.

I guess that's a 2002 thing, as both my 00 and 01 TT's did not have that.
