Your looking in the wrong area. It's not directly behind the passenger seat where you are looking. It's on the other side of that wall in the area where the roof collapses down into. So you have to have the top up in order to access the area. You have to stick your head between the roll bars and look in the passenger side area where the top normally collapses down into when the car top I in convertible mode!

I have same problem. I found the unit from the trunk area but I can’t pull the unit out because the wires are to short so I can’t really investigate the unit. Any suggestions.
