Anyone made their own V1 hardwire kit? What pins in the phone jack do you connect the power to?

Default It's more than just plugging into the "phone jack"...

You have to wire a DB-25 connector to re-route the power and other signals to the RJ-45 (CAT-5) type jack near the cup holder.

Default Easy there... My mistake, I meant the RJ-11 cable used to power the V1...

V1 uses phone cord with "jacks" or whatever for the connections. Since there are many pins in the connector, I needed to figure out which pins are power and ground, and I've done that with a circuit tester. Also have to incude an inline fuse. Now I have to find a 12v switched wire in the overhead light panel. How to remove the panel is another story (i've seen it done on the forum before).

Anyway, this will all have to wait until I actually have the car, it arrived at the dealer today! Need to get the V1 in soon because I just got a hefty ticket on Wednesday.

I need another adapter for my other car and don't feel like having one shipped up to Canada.
