I rarely need anything more than soap and water for mine but I use P21S wheel cleaner once a month

Default Simple Green works better than anything else I've found to remove grime...

follow up with specific wheel cleaner to shine them up.

Simple green will also remove paint though if I'm not mistaken.

Default hasn't yet, hasn't even dulled the clear...

I'm pretty sure I checked the label before using it, but it had been recommended by another Audi owner. He said he's used it on all his wheels.

Default I've used Meguiars for years - spray on hose off - no damage to any of my wheels from it

as someone who's owned BBS mesh wheels - it's great. Works way better than simple green IMO.

Default Meguiars when I wash the TT...

each week. I use Meguiars car wash detergent. I have two wash mitts. The whitest one is for washing the car itself. The older grey one is to wash the wheels, done last, of course. I rinse everything fully starting from the top and working down. To dry the car I use old towels. One set is for the car itself and one set is to wipe dry the wheels. After I dry the car and wheels I apply Meguiars tire dressing to the tires. This ritual is performed every Saturday, regardless of weather... ;-)

When I switch wheels for storage, I use diluted simple green and clean both sides of the wheel rinsing liberally. I then use old towels to dry the wheels prior to storing them.

Default what's it called...

I tried a bunch of the higher priced stuff and never found anything that worked worth a damn and didn't take the whole bottle to do two wheels.

I just bought a bottle of Simple Green, so hope it works. Should I dilute?
