Default Anyone replaced their Haldex pinion bearing?

Hey guys, R32-owner here again.

I've had two friends also with Golf R32s that have had their Haldex's pinion bearing replaced under warranty after hearing that "whurring" sound when coming to a stop and/or while driving.

I've always done Haldex *and* differential fluid changes though.
Just wanted to hear what you guys were experiencing if anything since we share a 3.2L Haldex drivetrain/chassis.

Volkswagen is *well-aware* of the issue and has begun instructing dealers on how to repair it (shipping the bearings out for a rebuild) versus just swapping the entire rear-end out for a replacement (which may not end up any better necessarily). All of our cars are a 2004 year of course, but I believe some have a later build-date than others.

Default Sorry... No. Keith has had a lot of problems because apparently, they only filled the Haldex...

Half way on the .:Rs for some reason.

He's out of warranty, so he's totally boned, but he has a LOT of info on it.
