Anyone see the TT on Good Morning America?
Was just curious, but they had an editor from Automobile magazine there and they brought along some cars that they thought were.... well, I can't remember what it was, but something about the best cars for the new year (someone help me here). Anyway, the editor commented on the beauty and handling of the TT and compared it to a Porsche.

Saw it (more)
Got most of it 'surfing' between Today and GMA. They showed five 'great cars for 2000' and among them was the TT (of course, silver), the new BMW SUV, the full-size Toyota PU and I missed the remainder.
The Automobile editor, Jean something or other (kinda quirkly gal), mentioned that the TT is like a Porsche 911. Thank God, she didn't say a 914 !
Apparently Charlie Gibson was not enthused by the TT but smiled alot at the BMW. What does one expect from someone who probably takes the subway to work.

sTTeve, I got off an E-train this morning and you won't find me on the X-5 Board! >
I'm sure Charlie commutes in from CT everymorning. This year in a Lexus RX300 - next year in an X-5. I wish he'd take the subway because he seems to be the type to "block the box!"
