A friend of my parents new I detailed cars (As a teen) and got a box (12 bottles) back in the mid 80's. I have one bottle left and it still works fine! (Found it during a recent move...)
Originally marketed in a light blue container and targeted towards Airplane Owners as it's inherent qualities made it perfect for planes windows. My bottles were 1/2 Lt. Blue and 1/2 yellow.
I usually have to put on a couple coats about 24 hours apart and you do not have to put very much on at all. I evaporates so fast so I have created (McGuyvered) a special applicator out of a shoe polish container which has a sponge on the end. I run this over the glass as fast as I can and then follow up with a very small, saturated paper towel. Let dry, then buff to a film, let dry then wipe off moving front bumper to back. It will wear down with the wipers but I use it on all lights, mirrors, turn sigs....etc. It will last longer on them....
Run in the rain with it.... no wipers needed!
