Anyone using a baby seat in the back?
With a baby on the way in June, I'm keen to here from anyone who has fitted a baby seat in the rear.
The brochure states that the car is ISOFIX compliant:
- do you need to buy a fixing kit ?
- can the seat fold down when the kit is installed ?
- does the baby seat push up against the back of the front seats and do the fronts need to be slid forward significantly?

Yes, a few times, not easily done...
We have been putting our son from the age 4 months till now in the back. It can be done but it requires a lot of bending in unnatural ways and is very tidious. You have to twist the baby seat somewhat since it will not go in easily with the front seat pushed all the way forward. At 8 months old his feet push up against the back of the front seat now and there is not much more for him.
Now, my daughter is 5 years old and she jumps in by herself and loves in the back seat. No booster seat required and she loves the back seats because she can actually see outside. She has ridden in the front passenger side twice and hates it because the door panels are so high she cant see anything.
