Default nobody's ever syphoned a tank??? get a hose...

stick the hose all the way into the tank but long enough to hang out and still reach the ground. suck to start the gas flowing (move quick before you get a face full of gas) then keep the container lower then the tank and it will all drain up and out of there.

Watch out you don't bust the valve at the end of the filler in the tank but thats the way to do it

Default Undo the hose to the filter, turn car to "on" position....

it'll start the pump and begin draining the tank. How I found out? Well, literally by accident! That's the "sand" thrown down by the fire department after I had an incident with a collapsing Audi jack puncturing the gas filter and brake line. I stupidly put the key to the on position, turning on the fuel pump.

Default It actually only runs for a few seconds, and if the car is not started, it stops>>

just comes on long enough to pressurize the system. Otherwise, it'd be a serious fire hazard!

Default Can't he do a couple of on-off cycles without problems? Just long enough to pump the gas out?

Or he can just to the good ole fashion syphon deal I guess.

Default You boys got alot to learn. lol

Unplug the fuel return line comming off the fuel rail (Top Line). Get yourself a 3'long piece of 5/16" ID fuel hose. Plug one end onto the fuel rail, stick the other end into your 5gal gas can. Start you motor and watch all you fuel pump right into your gas can.

Fill up on race gas and just switch over to race program.
