Anyway to over-ride the BOSE software to get the fader to work??

Default First of all: this better not be all so you can listen to Country Music!

The roadster has a subwoofer behind the seats. The existence of that subwoofer allowed the Bose designers, in their infinate wisdom, to enable the fader because the real bass "support" was anchored by the subwoofer anyway.

Coupes don't have a subwoofer, instead, they have the sub-par-bass (hence all the talk of recoding).

Please understand that NOBODY has an enabled OEM Bose fader in a coupe.
