The APR adds about 40HP to the 225HP quattro. Has anyone done a before and after chip installation comparison on their 0-60 MPH and 1/4 mile times?

93 = good.....but 100 will spoil you silly. I just got back from dealer fixing a leaky vacuum hose, the cause of my check engine light. Went to him in stock mode. Absolutely no comparison. In fact, I'm on my way to a ~$50.00 outlay right now.

I think it's a great chip and makes enough of a difference that you'll be sorry you didn't do it sooner. The stock chip makes the car feel like a dog. Not that the car suddenly becomes a dragster, but there is a needed infusion of boost throughout the car's powerband with the chip. I found that power was very usable, and even smoother after the addition of an APR exhaust. (Any performance exhaust should help, my experience is with the APR, which I think is competitive cost-wise.)
With regard to the programs, I'd get only the ones you think you'll actually use. They're all nice, I typically use just the 93 octane (make sure you can get it where you live) and stock for dealer visits.
Have fun!

1. Security Lockout Feature
2. Stock-91-93 Octane programs (+100 if you race)
3. Don't ever let a valet drive your TT so you don't need that program.
I didn't think anti-theft was available for the TT. Maybe it is now. Throttle body alignment and fault code erase if you do not have a VAG might be useful but I never (really) use them. I have a Palm OS tool to read and clear DTCs.

Looks like there have been no complaints. I chipped and exhausted my '02 ALMS and it screams like a banchee!! (Did it in Houston - from Albuquerque, btw). Come to TT-West in PrescoTT and see for yourself.

by mistake as I'm using the cruise control stalk to slow down by holding it in coasting for a few seconds.
