Default value is a personal thing. Is 30-35 extra HP worth the $500?

Only you can answer that. Many here have a chip and swear they love them.

I think that's a must if you're not getting a spare ECU.

Default @ $40,000, the 225HP TT = $178/hp, the Chip @ $500 & 30HP = $17/hp...

Seems like a pretty good value if you are looking at horses for horses!

Default Yes, it's worth it (gets better over time) and yes, get the stock/chip and

erase code/manual adjustment options on the control stalk

Default I love mine - I heard sounds from that engine that I never heard before chipping.

Those sounds sure put a smile on my face.

Default Look at it this way - you can spend 500 on an armrest and cupholder

that you can get for 355 in europe - or you can pay 500 for more horsepower and risk losing your warranty. Ooops.... those don't seem like options.
