OK benchracers please create a kit for us already:)
actually APR understates their numbers too. My friend dynoes @ 289 whp with a FMIC on his GTI..Do the math using a 12.5% drivetrain loss.. A stock K04 pumping out 310hp is working its *** off and the heat created must be sick. I plan on running a minimum of 6 track days this year and I need a turbo that can put out big hp well in its efficiency range..

Past experience? None. Willingness to try new stuff? Always.
And FYI, there are guys with FMIC STGIII kits that cant dyno more that 260whp... I think those 280whp numbers are a bit inflated by whatever dyno they are on.... Someone should do a dyno on a stand....

I admire your courage
but you do come off like an expert, kind of a been there done that attitude.. Scott ran 13.01 @ 109 with wheelspin midway thru 2nd.. I'd say his dyno #'s were spot on.
