Default Arb Install Advice Needed

Putting Hotchkis arb's on 2001 quattro with stock shock/springs (haven't decided on suspension yet). Is it necessary or advisable to change the front and rear sway bar links? If yes, is there a recommended part (r32 fronts?) or aftermarket supplier?

My fronts started clattering at approx 80,000 mi. Rears are still good at 94000.

You will like the Hotchkiss bars. Grease them well as you install or they will squeak. I run my rear bar in the middle hole and front bar at the softest (outer- longest) hole. I have Koni Yellows, Defcon control arm bushings and stock springs.

Default Do IT!

J has a good setup. I'd go for the hotchkiss and Koni Yellow combo

Thanks for the info, especially your rear setting. I was initially going to go with the softest front and stiffest rear settings but will try yours first. Waiting for the Borla to arrive so I can swap the bars and exhaust at the same time.

You may find that the Borla requires considerable tweaking to get it to hang straight and tuck up close to the valance. Mine did. Even required cutting and rewelding the muffler inlet pipe. It is perfect now, and I like it (except on long trips) but it was not plug and play. I did get mine on a special price reduction for about $475. a few months back so maybe they had some that were not quite true. The advertised special did not say that however.
