My family copies everything my wife and I do.

From curtains to cranberry sauce. We bought a Honda..one of them bought a honda..we bought a Lexus...one bought a Lexus ... But they can't copy the TT - None of them can drive a standard transmission.

Just hope none of my neighbors or co-workers get a TT. Had the car one day (before we returned it) and everyone at work was quizzing me about it. Even people I never met before.

Please, please Audi - Do not make an Auto TT.

My family tree does the same thing. I got something, they have to get something better. I get into a good university, they try to get to Harvard. I am 5'11", the parents buy the kids pills to get them to grow higher. The madness ends when they couldn't keep up anymore.

My family is big on 'one'-upping each other.We got a honda..they got an Acura (TL)..

'But the copy is never as sharp as the original' as I tell my wife (who gets very upset at each 'copy').

This (TT) is the trump card (at least for a few years, anyway). Plus they are the cheapest people. They would never spend $43K on a car. They have the $$ but would never spend it on a car.

10 years ago, everyone in my family had Buicks. Now they all have Honda/Acura/Lexus/Toyota since we bought one (Honda + Lexus) 10 years ago. Now we are going Euro. They won't know what to do now.
