To get pulled over in NJ, you have to stand out like a sore thumb... be more cautious.
So long as you are north of Turnpike Exit 10, there will always be someone driving faster than you and/or doing something more stupid in traffic to make the choice easier for the cops to determine who gets pulled over.
I say take it like a man. You got pulled over because of your on road behavior.

I always thought you actually had to be a member, but maybe not considering that so many people ...
on this board seem to have them. My Dad used to give me his card from the previous year when his new one came in. And I have to admit that it helped once or twice having it sitting in my dash. ;-)

Nice ranting, but no dice. You had everyone you know help you get outta this ticket (thats lawful..not) and the poor, pitiful cop doing his job wants you to pay to play? Hmmmm...sounds odd, huh. I love to hear how speeders think they should not pay the ticket especially when they blow it by 20MPH! Dont be a whiny-*** when you get pegged. Pay it and go on.

Hey, I might have been misunderstood. I will 100% take responsibility for my actions, but I was
NOT doing 86! I was doing maybe 70-75 in a 65. If he gave me a ticket for that then fine, but he nailed me b/c I am young and driving a sports car.

You don't have to pay for them. Sometimes you will get a general one if you make a donation...
But it is much different to have it issued by an officer with his badge # printed on it.

The pace is bull****. Plus you can try something else...
Cops are not supposed to give chase at excessive speeds because it usually leads to a large chase and danger. Ask him how fast he had to go to catch up to you at 125. Pacing is bull****. And I hope that he gets on the stand because I will make him pull the audio and video tapes to prove he is lying. He heard what he wanted to hear, not what I said. I told him that I was leaving for Europe on a... and before I could say business trip he walked away. In his transcript he wrote that I said I was going on vacation in Europe. *******.

Cop wouldn't allow the 97-2. And I had TWO LAWYERS with me. The prosecutor knows me since I am 4
and the judge is my brother's friends father. The cop was just a *****.
