Attachments for OEM Rack
I just bit on an OEM rack via eBay to mount on a DSG that should arrive in another couple weeks. Does anyone know what ski/snowboard attachment I can buy to go with this? The one listed on the Audi Collection explicity says it isn't for the TT. My guess is that this is because they've discontinued the TT Coupe rack, so should I just order this anyway? Worked for me on the OEM Base Rack, as did..
The new (Mont Blanc) bike rack.
The PN on my Ski rack mounting instruction books is 3B0 071 129 UA
I believe if I remember correctly from the paperwork, the Ski rack was also a VW part -not sure if it would be cheeper going that way?
Most of the attachments I have seen fit into a pretty generic channel on the base.

The only reason that it says that it's not for the TT
is because they mean that it's not for the TT roadster rack (because there is not indication that there even was a rack for the couple on the website)

Bike trays mount OK. Thule America makes an adaptor hardware kit (part #753-3082) to mount their N.American spec bike trays ( V-2, Velo Vise etc.) to their Aero load bars(Audi oem rack).Thule Sweden's bike trays (511,511-1,etc) come standard w/ this hardware. Mounting kit can be purchased from Thule America at 1-800-238-2388. Not sure if ski rack fits TTs, as the oem TT load bars have a slight bow to match the TT's roof contour, where as the ski rack mounting surface is flat where it mounts to the rack.
