Default aTTained nirvana

It was a fond farwell to the old VW, but I just moved into TT nirvana with an 01' roadster. Sure it's only got 180, but that's what money and mods are for, right? So, my first forum questions (sorry if they're lame)...

1. Any Richmond, VA-based TTs out there?

2. Although I don't believe in false dual exhaust kits, I do believe in symmetry. Is it possible to create a "centered" exhaust (a la the Boxster) with the 1.8s single pipe? (A larger exhaust tip might be warranted for balance.) Or is this just stupid.

Default 1. not me

2. you can get a dual exhaust and valence and improve performance and looks! if it's a quattro. fwd you'll need the fake tip and valence. Audi just started selling them. someone here installed recently.

One tuner does offer a boxster type center exhaust.

Default But still greater than the sum of its parts.

Indeed... But that doth not diminish my affection for the car. It's only a matter of time before the equation continues + APR + Hyperboost DV + ? + ? + Credit Debt = driving pleasure.

Default Certainly...

FWD does have the huge advantage of being nearly 300lbs lighter than a quattro equipped car. Get the suspension dialed in properly and I'm not sure that you're missing out on that much roadholding ability plus the lighter weight should make it feel a bit more nimble.
As long as you can balance the modding insanity with the credit car debt you'll be ok I've seriously got the itch to mod something again. hmmmmm

Default Doesn't this Remus one turn the FWD into a dual exhaust?

It's at the bottom.
Don't know if anyone has tried it<ul><li><a href="http://www.remus.at/product.php?option=1&amp;selPrdID=1&amp;ln=2&amp;s electBrtID=16&amp;selectCatID=274&amp;selectDtlID= 429">http://www.remus.at/product.php?option=1&amp;selPrdID=1&amp;ln=2&amp;s electBrtID=16&amp;selectCatID=274&amp;
