attempted theft of 225TT, how much $ to replace locks?

This happened to me over New Years in Central NJ
Insurance would not pay for a new set of locks due to the cost...I was told that for 4 locks you need with new keys would be close to $3,000. Once again I don't really believe this. The bigger problem that I had is to get a pre coded lock core from germany it takes as long as 12 weeks. In an attempt to "save me this time" the ordered a plain lock core and "coded" it themselves. The lock core does not work properly. They have now ordered the coded set from Audi. I have been waiting six weeks. My Bill was close to $1500 to do it the cheap way and it is not done yet and it is not right! Let me know if I can be any help!

Why does ANYONE in NJ drive anything other than a '84 Chevy Celebrity?
From various boards, I can tell <b>everything</b> gets stolen in Jersey - Acuras, Audis, BMWs, MBs, etc.
Why does anyone living in Jersey even <i>bother</i> driving anything nice, when apparently it will just get stolen anyway (or at least have the Xenons ripped out of the bumper)...
