AMAZING!!!!

The hardware today was just gorgeous..everything...Makes me realize the work that went into these classics both when they were first built, and in restoration.

Stumbled onto a few interesting rides while wandering through the lot going on...

Obligatory Ferrari...

<img src="http://images23.fotki.com/v868/photos/8/89907/5009556/P6030230-vi.jpg">

Notice the placement of the radiator...
<img src="http://images23.fotki.com/v878/photos/8/89907/5009556/P6030233-vi.jpg">

Lots more in the link below.....oh, and i need some Audi content too...

<img src="http://images24.fotki.com/v853/photos/8/89907/5009556/P6030073-vi.jpg">

I sat in it...gotta chance for the first time to walk around and check it out...i think this visit swayed my opinion a bit..trying to get a drive in one in the next couple of weeks...More pix and impressions if i pull that one off! ;-)

It was interesting to see that the MK2 sitting 3 cars over was getting little to no attention....There was an S5 there too..reminds me very much of a 3 series coupe....that got more attention then the MK2 TT....

Overall great day....weather held out and some amazing iron..Cannot wait for the next one of these....

Enjoy!

I wonder what he wanted for that R1. I bet that gets some attention on the road.

Default The work on the older cars is amazing. Mostly all hand done....

No modern stamping tools and the details are amazing.

Would loved to have been there.

Thanks

Default no way Chip>>>

this is serious stuff....there were 4 356's there, and they were all ground up restorations to OEM spec....

My car would have been BANNED!!! and leaving it in the parking lot would have been a bad thing....

Renewed my vigor to keep restoring it though..and maybe get something else!!! ;-)

That is the downside to these things....if you want to call it that.;-)
