Only Audi dealers can Audi Assured their cars.
Clients cannot bring their car in and get it Assured.
When a dealer buys an Audi he can get Certified; there is a hefty cost that varies on which Audi is to be certified, and depending on the wear of certain items, like tires, brakes and hoses, the dealer will replace them as part of the Certification process.
It is a 300 point inspection.

It's a warranty / certification only for used (Audi?) cars sold by Audi dealerships.

Default My dealer was willing to do it for me even if I bought the car somewhere else.

The car would have to be sold to the Audi dealer instead of myself and then resold to me from Audi. If you already own the car then it doesn't make sence to do it since you'll have to pay taxes.

From the dealership, if you bought it from a dealership. They (the dealership) say it goes through this big point inspection, but I think they just take your 1000 bucks (mine actually came out to 1200 bucks, 1000 for the Audi Assured part, 200 to inspect) and don't do the inspection (my car had numerous things that should've been caught on the inspection). What exactly is assured also varies from each dealership. I called Audi after I got my official Audi Assured card in the mail. The only thing they could tell me is that each visit to the dealer is something like 50 bucks. So if my transmission goes up after my 4 year/50k mile warranty expires, I only need to pay 50 bucks to get it fixed. I'm not sure if that 50 bucks covers routine maintenance (Audi is not very helpful over the phone in this area). Roadside assistance is also provided. I would definitely look into some sort of extended warranty for your car. It doesn't have to be Audi Assured, there's plenty of other companies that provide this. It's a good car, it just has known problems with the instrument cluster, the electronics (windows), various rattles, the clutch cylinder(s), and numerous other things that you can find on this forum.
