Default I know I paid a bit more for a CPO car - but after 4 instrument clusters, new turbo and

secondary air injection pump - i'm glad I did!

Horch it!!! Never heard of that with a TT. Always been a 4+2 year deal FTW.

Default My God!! READ BELOW... CPO IS TRANSFERABLE NO MATTER WHAT!!

I am the destroyer of all rumors related to the CPO not being transferable. I don't want to hear it again, the warranty is most certainly transferable, heck i just did it 3 weeks ago with no hitches!

Default At that point, you get a VIN and call AoA (see number below), ask when the CPO expires >>

If they say "this car is NOT a CPO" then you can pay for it, if they give you an answer "VIN blah blah expires in 2 years" then DONT get the CPO from the dealer but instead follow my instructions below. The dealer may be trying to sell you something that someone else has already paid for in the past. YMMV but its worth a shot.

Default Third, and probably the best case for argument>>

New head and valves, new cooling system, waterpump, timing belt, cluster, CV boots, etc etc... over $7k in total, $6200 covered by cpo, $800 out of my pocket.

You know maybe you are thinking of powertrain. That's 7 year/100,000.

Default my CPO paid for a new turbo

No hassle. Near the same cost as yours with no out of pocket expenses.
